Slovenia - 5000 Tolarjev 2002 - Pick # 33as - UNC

Description

This Slovenian banknote stands out for its artistic design and vibrant colors. The front showcases detailed imagery and security features, including advanced holographic elements and microprinting that prevent counterfeiting. The presence of the historical figure Ivana Kobilica adds a cultural depth, as she is recognized for her contributions to Slovenian art. The use of purples and greens gives it a modern yet elegant look, and the 'SPECIMEN' mark indicates its non-circulating status, commonly used for display purposes.

Obverse (front)
The front of the 5000 Slovenian tolar note displays a striking portrait of Ivana Kobilica, an influential figure in Slovenian art. Her likeness is finely rendered with intricate lines, conveying depth and character. The background has a blend of pastel shades, with vibrant purples and greens creating a visually appealing contrast. Security features include a watermark with the figure's image which, when held against the light, reveals layers of color that enhance its authenticity. Also present are intricate patterns and microtext that can only be seen under magnification, reinforcing its secure design.

Reverse (back)
The back of the note presents abstract geometric patterns that symbolize the richness of Slovenian culture. A striking mesh-like design features overlapping shapes, creating a three-dimensional effect, enhanced by a holographic display that appears to shift when viewed from different angles. The dominant colors of yellow and blue work harmoniously with the front, providing continuity in design. A prominent ‘5000’ denomination is printed boldly, ensuring quick recognition. Overall, the back complements the front with both aesthetic and functional features, exemplifying state-of-the-art banknote printing technology.

SPECIMEN: Demonstration banknote used by banks and printers, marked with "SPECIMEN." Never circulated, often in pristine condition, making it highly collectible.
