Description

This 10 Rupees banknote from the State Bank of Pakistan features significant elements of cultural and artistic value, especially highlighted by its depiction of Qaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. The banknote is specifically issued for Haj pilgrims and has distinctive marks and colors that speak to its purpose.

Obverse (front)
The front of the banknote prominently displays the portrait of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan. Jinnah is portrayed in a formal suit with a distinctive hat, symbolizing leadership and national pride. Surrounding his image are ornate designs in hues of gray and green, which enhance its aesthetic appeal. The denomination '10' is clearly visible in the upper left corner, adorned with decorative borders. Security features include fine micro-printing and a watermark that may not be immediately visible in standard light, ensuring authenticity.

Reverse (back)
On the reverse side of the note, intricate floral patterns intertwine with Arabic script, emphasizing its religious significance for Haj pilgrims. The background color shifts to a softer pink, creating a warm contrast with the front. The text 'FOR HAJ PILGRIMS FROM PAKISTAN' signifies its specific use, and aspects of the design include geometric shapes and stylized calligraphy. Notable security measures potentially present are holographic strips and a color-shifting ink feature that provide additional layers of protection.
